As a two-year comprehensive community college, NCTC has the authority by the state of Texas to offer the following degrees:
- Associate of Arts (AA)
- Associate of Science (AS)
- Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT)
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS)
- Level I Workforce Certificate
- Level II Workforce Certificate
- Marketable Skills Achievement Award
